Slingers,
As we are about to begin receiving containers of Slinger Bag into our warehouses, I wanted to draft this update to outline the next steps and what you should be expecting.
Starting tomorrow we will begin receiving Slinger into our East Coast US warehouses. In the coming week we are expecting to begin receiving containers into our other warehouses (West Coast US and Canada), and in a fortnight or so, into our EU warehouses. We will continue receiving containers at a rate of 1-2 containers per week, until we have taken delivery of the full first production run covering all backer orders.
Once the containers arrive at their destinations, clear through customs and are unloaded at our distribution centers, each unit will be processed into our order system and within a few days, be processed and shipped out to each of you.
When your Slinger Bag package leaves our distribution center, you will receive 2 emails - one with shipping/tracking details and the other with set-up instructions, warranty registration information and a message from Mike Ballardie, our CEO. Please keep an eye out for these emails.
FINAL ADDRESS CONFIRMATION: As we are closing in on shipping these product orders, if you have not yet submitted/confirmed your shipping address or have moved homes since you last updated these details via BackerKit or an alternative Google Form link, then please submit your new address via the link below.
If you have previously submitted an updated address or have filled out an address change form then you do not need to fill this out again. If you have done this previously, we have your updated information and it is saved in our system.
Please Note: This link will be open until Sunday Feb 2nd at 5pm EST. Afterwhich all addresses that have been submitted will be marked as final.
Backers in Asia and Australia - as I am sure you are all aware, with the outbreak of the Coronavirus in the region, the Chinese Authorities have imposed certain measures to try and stop the spread. We were just notified by our team in China today that due to these imposed measures, we, as well as other regional warehouses, will be unable to ship anything out until further notice. While we hope that this will be resolved quickly, and that everyone will be well, we are already looking into alternative ways to expedite your orders and will update you as soon as we know more.
Slingers, the road was long, but we are here. I cannot wait to hear your feedback and thoughts. Once again, thank you for backing our dream!
